My First Real Photo Shoot

Here are a few of my favorite pictures I took today of Jonathan and his family and our family! Some of the ones of Makayla are really good! The boys were being uncooperative, so that was frustrating but it turned out to be a great Photo Shoot for Makayla!

Dawson and Wags

Dawson's kindergarten class has a pet dog named Wags! Dawson got to bring Wags home for the second time yesterday. He was very excited about it and loves to pretend Wags is real and talk to him. Yesterday Dawson went on his first field trip(a practice one) to the fire station and the park near his school. At the fire station they got to make fire chief hats for themselves, so naturally when Dawson got home he immediately went to work on making one for Wags! He is very creative. He worked all afternoon to get it just right and then before bedtime I helped him fit it on Wags' head and glue the ends together! I just thought it was so cute, so I took some pictures of him and Wags this morning before school to share with everyone!Today Dawson is going on his first "real" field trip to the Tyler Zoo! It is real because they get to ride the bus and wear their class shirts! Yesterday they just walked to the fire station and park because it is so close to his school!

Quick Photo Shoot with the Kids today!

I took these pictures of the boys this summer. We went to a really pretty park in Tyler I needed some new ones. Even though we didn't have our good camera. I thought some of them turned out pretty good. It really wasn't the best day for pictures because it was really hot and the sun was pretty much in our eyes in every direction but I made them suffer through it anyways. In some of the pictures you can really tell what the boys thought about taking pictures that day! I think if they would have been brave enough to tell me what they thought, it probably wouldn't have been very nice. I guess it is a good thing we have instilled "the fear" in them! =) I hope you enjoy!
